            Independence Day is a holiday that we celebrate every month of June. It is the country’s National Day. All government officers are closed and so also are schools. Filipinos celebrate it because it shows respect to the heroes who sacrifice their self to save our country.

            It’s not only the heroes the reason why we celebrate Independence Day. It includes also the teachers who teaches children, the soldiers who has the bravery to protect our country to the bad ones, the doctors and nurse who is helping to cure diseases, and others. This people also sacrifice their self to help us and protect our country.

            We celebrate Independence Day because this is the day that Filipinos achieved the peace in their country with the help of heroes. This is the day that Filipinos achieved and see the light of their country and have their freedom. Without the heroes we will never achieved our freedom. So we should thank them because they have a lot to contribute to our country. We should not forget them and always remember them.
